Hapi is inspired by the Nile, the source of life in Ancient Egypt. Its textures evoke papyrus, the plant used to build many of the boats that sailed its waters.

The hieroglyph for the letter N, symbolizing the Nile, the presence of Ra, and the black recalling Kemet -"the Black Land", the name the ancient Egyptians gave their country in honor of the fertile soil left by the river- come together in a collection conceived as a tribute to the birthplace of a civilization.
